The inspiration for Victorian ornaments
Victorian designers have a tradition of taking past styles and processes in the ceramics industry and adding onto them, creating new styles and designs with a classic flare. Birds, flowers, shells and other animals were popular themes in Painting and made their way onto Victorian ornaments for this reason. Victorian Christmas ornaments are one great example of the influence of this style. We repeat the tradition here at Rhyn-Rivet. We've taken an old tradition and expanded on it. For example, here at Rhyn-Rivet, we use this style to create Victorian ornaments made of bisque porcelain but with the personal touch of our own artists' styles. Many of our Victorian Christmas ornaments are adorned with intricately painted floral arrangements such as roses, poinsettias and festive garlands. Each one has its own whimsical theme and unique color combination. From ribbons to snowflakes, candy and candles, you'll find many unique scenes and patterns with Rhyn-Rivet pieces.
